Founded in 1999, Merchant Resource (MR) offers its client a wide variety of online solution and business services. In 2003, MR began to acquire higher-end merchants who rely on MR to assist in marketing their businesses to new prospects and connect them with the right target audiences both online and traditional media. Lightbody Accounting Services was asked to monitor company operations and implement a comprehensive set of procedures and policies to control and manage these new services. Lightbody researched the current accounting software and executed new job costing procedures to track expenses for each client, event and product. As a result, management is now able to maximize reporting flexibility, control expenses and forecast cash flow and profits.
